The US Agency for International Development (USAID), has delivered critical supplies to Benghazi in support of flood relief efforts in Libya.
The supplies from our Dubai warehouse include blankets, hygiene kits, plastic sheeting, shelter kits, & water containers to be distributed to flood-affected communities to address their most urgent needs, the US Embassy in Libya said on X platform.
On Monday, US President Joe Biden announced that his country would provide humanitarian aid to Libya worth $11 million to confront the effects of the devastating floods that struck the east of the country, leaving thousands dead, missing, and displaced.
