The Political Adviser to the United States Secretary of State, Brian Hook and the Foreign Minister for Tunisia, Noureddine Erray, called for all illegal foreign interference in Libya to stop.

The two parties stressed the need to find a political solution to the conflict in a way that guarantees Libya’s security and stability, stressing the importance of continued coordination and consultation through the Security Council (SC) in particular, in a manner which enhances stability and ensures peace and security in the entire region.

Tunisian sources have reported the possibility of the dismissal of Minister Erray due to a difference of opinion between both he and the Tunisian President on the Libyan issue.
