The regional spokesman for the US State Department, Samuel Warburg, has confirmed that his country is working with all political parties inside Libya, adding that it may along with its regional and international allies impose sanctions on election spoilers in Libya.

In an interview with the American Al-Hurra TV, Warburg reiterated Washington's support for the political process facilitated by the United Nations, led by the UN advisor Stephanie Williams.

Regarding the oil and budget file, he made it clear that it is not possible to impose solutions on the Libyans, but rather they must come from the Libyan leaders themselves.
