Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has confirmed that his country is in talks with all parties in Libya to achieve stability in the country, saying "we have worked a lot for the stability of Libya”.
In a statement to Sky News Arabia after the recent immigrant tragedy on the coast of Calabria, southern Italy, Taiani pointed to the need for collective European action to address illegal immigration, adding that "Europe cannot choose not to think about the effects of immigration on its coasts."
