The Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Libya, Raisedon Zenenga, discussed, on Monday, Bathily's initiative on enabling elections with a group of members of the House of Representatives.
According to a tweet by the UN mission, members of the House of Representatives presented their views on political, security and other challenges that prevent progress in Libya.
The tweet added that the meeting discussed including the views of civil society, women, youth, political parties and cultural components in addressing the factors that caused the failure to hold the elections in December 2021.
