Several people in Zuwara city burnt tires blocking the main roads on Thursday in protest of the blocking of secondary school certificate results in the city by the Education Ministry.
The city’s security directorate said the personnel managed to end the protest and open the main roads, urging the protesters to carry out peaceful demonstrations.
The Presidential Council’s Education Ministry blocked the results in Zuwara over lack of authenticity, announcing the formation of a probe to investigate group cheating during the final exams.
