The Head of the Administrative Centers Development Authority, Ibrahim Takita, announced the delivery of 207 schools as part of the project to complete the suspended projects, pointing out that 42 new schools will be delivered during the months of April and May: 18 schools in April, and 24 in May.

This came during a meeting held by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah at the office of the Center for Educational Curricula and Educational Research with the Minister of Education, Musa Al-Magaryef, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry and the directors of the departments and centers affiliated with the Ministry.

Takita explained that work is continuing to complete the readiness of 142 other schools, bringing the total number of completed schools to 393, in addition to completing the procedures related to implementing the 500 model school project, the latest of which is site studies in coordination with the Urban Planning Department, where 476 educational sites have been completed.

The Director of the Educational Curricula Center presented the measures taken regarding printing and supplying textbooks and various supplies before the start of the next academic year, while Dbeibah stressed the need to implement staffing for educational institutions so that the Ministry can identify the educational and administrative cadres that the sector needs as it is the largest sector in the number of its members compared to other sectors, asking for focusing on training teachers and raising their efficiency through realistic plans, and preparing qualified trainers in all regions.

The Director of the National Center for Examinations also presented his stance on the center’s preparations, confirming its readiness to carry out the examinations for the two certificates in all aspects. He pointed to a number of technical programs within the Ministry’s plan for the year 2024, the most important of which is self-registration for first-grade students through the electronic system, and the parents' follow-up of details of registration, grades, absence, and results through a special electronic platform.
