Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has stated that there are no indications of a Libyan legislative vision that open the way to general elections.

Aboul Gheit commented on the resignation of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, saying that it “augurs well,” noting that it came in protest against the situation in Libya, according to his interview with the Egyptian Sada El Balad channel.

The Secretary of the Arab League confirmed that the League will host Libyan leaders from all parties from the west and east of the country soon.
