The High Council of State Head, Mohammed Takala, met on Tuesday with the Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Agriculture and Animal Wealth in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Hussein Al-Qatrani.
A statement by the HCS media office said the meeting discussed the political situation and the ministry's plans to enhance the agriculture sector, increase vegetation cover, and combat desertification.
The officials also addressed the environmental conditions in the city of Zliten due to the rise in groundwater levels.
