The "Kuwaiti Seed Bank" has presented sustainable seed plants to a Libyan organization interested in tackling environmental issues.
The Libyan Land & Sea Organization said they received around 10 thousand seeds for evergreen trees from the electronic Kuwaiti Seed Bank as a symbolic gift to the Libyan people.
The seeds will be distributed to those interested in afforestation very soon, the organization said.
The Kuwaiti bank says its goal is to contribute to supplying sustainable and indigenous plants, including those that have gone extinct, by refurbishing them through imports.
The project, launched in September last year also aims for the cultivation and development of sustainable and more greener cities to attain a better environment through the efforts of local experts.
