Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company has confirmed that the company’s working environment is safe from any radiation risks, after a survey conducted by a team from the Atomic Energy Corporation.

The company said that it requested a comprehensive radiation survey of a number of sites that use radioactive isotopes in their operations, with the aim of raising safety rates in various units of the industrial complex, according to a statement issued last Saturday.

The Atomic Energy Corporation sent a specialized team to carry out the survey mission a few days ago, which performed its role accompanied by the radiation file official, the heads of the company’s occupational health and inspection departments, and the head of the precision machinery department at the polyethylene plant.

The results of radiation surveys revealed the safety of the work environment in various locations within the Ras Lanuf Industrial Complex.

The Atomic Energy Corporation report concluded that the work environment falls within safe and internationally acceptable standards.

The statement explained that Ras Lanuf Company has an agreement with the Atomic Energy Corporation, to benefit from the exclusive specialized services provided by the Corporation in the field of radiation surveying.
