The security forces have stepped up operations in and around the city of Mizdah as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and uphold the rule of law.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that Border Guard patrols have intensified their efforts to combat organized crime, smuggling, and illegal migration. Officers have been deployed across rugged desert areas and remote tracks frequently used for illicit activities.

Security patrols have also been dispatched to the Qurayyat region and key checkpoints at Shabram 60 and 90 in Hamada al-Hamra.

Officials say extensive security sweeps are underway in valleys and known smuggling routes to track down traffickers and prevent any illegal movements.

Authorities stress that these operations are part of a broader initiative to crack down on cross-border crime and enhance national security.
