Al-Ahly Tripoli drew Egypt's El Gaish 1-1 on Tuesday at Benina Stadium in Benghazi and qualified to the second group stage round of the Arab Club Champions Cup (ACCC) after winning 3-2 on aggregate. 

Al-Ahly will face Tripoli in the second group stage round, the Omani team Al-Nahda, which eliminated the Palestinian team Shabab Al-Khalil.

The qualifying team from the first and second group stage rounds will join the second group of the tournament, which includes: Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia, Al-Sadd from Qatar, and Moroccan Wydad AC. 

The match saw dramatic events in the last minutes, when the Egyptian team's goalkeeper, Mohammed Shaaban, was injured in the third minute of stoppage time, after Al-Ahly Tripoli fans threw fireworks on the pitch.

The goalkeeper was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and after the resumption of the match, and due to running out of substitutions, defender Ahmed Mansour stepped in till the whistle.
