The Libyan national football team left Benina International Airport in Benghazi Sunday to Morocco to start a training camp, including two friendly matches against the teams of Burkina Faso and Togo.

According to the Knights of the Mediterranean's program, they will face Burkina Faso on Friday, March 22, and then Togo on Tuesday, March 26.

These two friendly matches are part of Libya's preparations for the resumption of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The national team is awaiting important matches next June, as it will play against Mauritius on June o3 at the Tripoli International Stadium, then away against Cape Verde on June 10.

Meanwhile, the Serbian coach Micho chose a list of 27 players to enter the camp, including a number of new faces in the Knights' squad.
