The Higher Institute in Zuwara has claimed the title of the Beach Soccer Championship, which wrapped on Friday.
More than 20 teams from various Libyan universities and higher institutes participated in the tournament.
The team was crowned at a ceremony on Friday in the presence of sports figures, representatives of student unions, and those interested in the beach soccer game.
The University of Tripoli came second, the Ryan Academy of Benghazi 3rd, and the Benghazi University (A) team won 4th place in the competition.
The four-day tournament was supervised by the Libyan Student Sports Federation, sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in strategic partnership with the Oasis Company and the Medical and Emergency Agency.
