The Assistant Head of the Illegal Immigration Fight Authority (IIFA), Mohammed Abu Bridia met yesterday Cote d'Ivoire’s Ambassador to Libya in the IIFA’s headquarters in the Airport road, Tripoli.

 

The meeting discussed the Ivorian immigrants’ conditions, who are residing in Tripoli shelter centers, and the possible ways of coordination between both countries to facilitate their journey back home.

 

The IIFA’s Head of the Protocol Bureau, Abdurazzak Al-Basheer, told the Libyan News Agency, (LANA) that it was agreed to find an appropriate way to coordinate with the African countries’ embassies in Libya that are located now in Tunisia to send those immigrants to their motherlands.

 

Following the meeting, Cote d’Ivoire’s Ambassador paid a visit to the immigrants’ shelter centers in Tripoli to check on the health and humanitarian conditions of the 39 Ivorian immigrants who were residing there.
