The Turkish Noble group of companies signed on Friday an agreement with Libya's General Board of Fairs that authorizes it to operate exhibitions in Libya.
At the signing ceremony in Istanbul, Arhan Celik, Chairman of the group, active in the field of organizing international exhibitions, said that they will be an operational partner in all exhibitions, hoping to transfer Turkey's 50-year experience in organizing exhibitions to Libya.
For his part, the Libyan Consul General in Istanbul, Salah Al-Din Al-Kaseh expressed Libya's desire to enhance cooperation with Turkey in this field.
He said that within a year, the Turkish group will organize six exhibitions in Libya, with the goal to introduce Turkey to the African market through Libya.
Africa will benefit from these exhibitions, Al-Kaseh said, pledging every effort to overcome the difficulties.
The Noble Group of Companies announced at the end of May that it had reached an agreement with the local authorities in Libya to operate the Tripoli international fairgrounds for a period of ten years.
