The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has established a playground for the Children of Seville Kindergarten in the Hay Al-Andalus Municipality of Tripoli.
Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, attended a ceremony that was joined by Mayor Muhammad Al-Futaisi, and officials at the facility, including headmaster Fathiye Al-Sari, the Anadolu Agency reported.
Turkey's state-run aid agency installed play equipment for children, as well as shelters from the sun and rain.
Principal Al-Sari praised TIKA for its role in assisting all educational institutions in Libya, noting that it had carried out development work at the facility in 2017.
Founded in 1992, TIKA is a major sponsor and coordinator of many charitable projects implemented worldwide, primarily in education and health.
With the high level of progress and its opening-up policy, Turkey expanded its charitable activities, particularly in development assistance.
