The 6th edition of “Our School Is Best” awards was held in Tripoli on Saturday, organized by Arrowad for Education and Awareness, a non-profit organization, where the best schools and teachers in Tripoli were honored. During the event, schoolchildren showcased educational values by performing songs in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza. The selection of the best schools is based on more than 20 criteria that should be present in the competing schools. These included hygiene, classroom equipment, use of technology, wearing school uniforms, contact with students' parents, electronic archiving system, database for students' results, healthy students' breakfast, diversity of school meals, media activity, organizing sports events, activity classes, motivating and encouraging outstanding students, first aid kits and safety equipment, clean drinking water, clean WC, computer labs, overcrowding in classrooms, and sports playgrounds.
