The Head of the Libyan Audit Bureau, Khalid Shakshak, discussed with the Turkish ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, remarks of the Libyan Audit Bureau on contracts signed with Turkish companies in Libya.

The Audit Bureau said on Facebook that Shakshak's meeting with the Turkish ambassador was part of implementing its technical work and the successive meetings held by Shakshak with Turkish officials and companies that have contracts in Libya.

"The meeting discussed ways to solve any problems or obstacles that prevent Turkish companies from resuming their tasks and completing their projects, in a manner that contributes to activating and accelerating the movement of construction and allowing companies to fulfill their obligations, but at the same time obtaining all of their rights." It added.

Several Turkish companies have previously signed contracts in Libya to build projects, including in infrastructure and electricity sectors, under agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the governments of the two countries at the time.
