The Turkish company (NAS) has presented a proposal to Libya's parallel government's Minister of Water Resources, Mohamed Douma, to design and implement an advanced biological wastewater treatment plant in Sabha.
The plant would utilize cutting-edge "Biology" technology for efficient and environmentally friendly wastewater processing, an official statement explained on Facebook.
The General Manager of NAS said the proposed plant would produce clean and safe water, suitable for reuse in agricultural and industrial applications.
Douma welcomed the proposal, highlighting the project's potential to enhance sustainable water resource management in Libya.
The ministry is set to carefully review the proposal and explore the possibility of collaboration with the Turkish company, he added.
