Minister of Economy and Trade Mohammed Al-Hweij engaged in discussions with several Turkish company owners and investors participating in the Libya Food Expo.
Also present at the meeting were the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, and the Turkish Commercial Attaché, Yusuf Yildiz.
The meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance trade cooperation between the two countries. Minister Al-Hweij listened attentively to the business owners' inputs regarding the progress of the trade process and the private sector dealings in both countries.
The parties also addressed the difficulties and obstacles that impede the mobility of company owners and the processes involved in importing and shipping goods and services between the two sides.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Hweij emphasized the importance of communication and coordination with the Turkish side to support the trade movement and facilitate the procedures for companies and investors in cooperation with all related entities.
