The Minister of Industry and Minerals Ahmed Abu Hisa discussed with the British Ambassador to Libya Martin Longden ways to enhance industrial and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides concentrated on developing strategic partnerships aimed at supporting the Libyan industrial sector and transferring modern technology and technical knowledge, given Libya's natural resources and distinguished location that makes it a gateway to the African continent and an outlet for goods and services.
Abu Hisa stressed the importance of activating industrial cooperation and joint work between the two countries to achieve economic development, which is an important factor in achieving stability and attracting investments.
The British Ambassador expressed his country's readiness to provide technical and technological expertise that contributes to achieving a qualitative shift in the Libyan industrial sector, noting that Libya is an important partner for the United Kingdom in the region.
