The National Oil Corporation (NOC) confirmed that more than $14.8 billion in oil revenues had been transferred to the Central Bank of Libya since January 2024 via 23 transfer transactions. The NOC added in a statement that the total amounts transferred to the Central Bank of Libya's account since last January until the end of Monday's working hours were $14,787,184,278.00.
The statement confirmed that the National Oil Corporation continued to transfer oil revenues to the Central Bank of Libya, in the usual manner, in fulfillment of its obligations and implementation of its assigned responsibilities. It published a table showing in numbers the amounts transferred to the Central Bank from oil revenues and the dates of transfer.
It is noteworthy that this number represents an increase of more than $400 million and two transfers, over the last transfer announced by the NOC on November 25, which amounted at the time to $14.4 billion transferred from oil revenues to the Central Bank through 21 transfers.
