Turkish exports to Libya in 2022 amounted to 456.7 million US dollars as of the end of February, the Turkish-Libyan Business Council of the Turkish Foreign Trade Relations Committee has confirmed.

According to the council's data, the value of exports to Libya last February alone amounted to 265.5 million dollars.

The council anticipated that the volume of trade exchange between Libya and Turkey within five years would reach $15 billion.

Libya imported from Turkey during the past month ready-made garments, grains, pulses, oilseeds, home furniture, paper, and forestry products, the report shows.

Last year, the head of the Turkish-Libyan Business Council, Morteza Kronfol, expressed his country's desire to increase its exports to Libya and urged Turkish entrepreneurs to invest in the northern African country.
