Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Imran Al-Qaib met on Sunday with the Bosnian Ambassador to Liya, Nermin Misnovic, to discuss cooperation in the field of higher education between the two countries.
Al-Qaib presented during the meeting a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation to be studied by the Bosnian side.
The proposal includes dispatching campus assistants, faculty members, outstanding students, and rare medical specialities students to universities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For his part, the Bosnian ambassador stressed his endeavour to enhance the prospects for cooperation between the two nations in this field, appreciating the warm reception from the Libyan side.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research formed, in mid-October, a committee to follow up on financial authorizations related to scholarship decisions.
