The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, the results of the first turn of secondary school certificate for the academic year 2016-2017 at home and abroad, in addition to the preparatory education certificate results for 2016-2017 for Libyan schools abroad.

The secondary certificate pass rate for the scientific section was 82.95% compared to the literary section 81.88%, while the preparatory certificate pass rate for Libyan schools abroad averaged 88.60%.

In A ceremony held for declaring the pass results in Radisson Blu Hotel, the Minister of Education, Osman Abdul Jalil, congratulated the graduating students and wished them success. The ceremony was attended by several lawmakers and municipal mayors, in addition to education observers.

During his speech, the Minister revealed that the state is to dispatch the 35 top students from both scientific and literary sections, alluding that the ministry will allocate a similar decision for secondary school certificate students in the eastern region immediately after announcing results of the secondary certificate there.
