100 bodies recovered after two boats sank off the Libyan coast

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced on Friday that the number of victims from the sinking of two boats, which were transporting immigrants off the coast of Libya, has risen to 100.
One of the boats sank off the coast of Khums, whilst the other near the coast of the Sorman on Thursday, according to a statement released by the IOM, adding that that the two boats had on board in excess of 140 migrants, which included women and children.
The Libyan coast guard, along with some local fishermen, managed to rescue 40 migrants and recover 74 bodies on Thursday, however the search for other victims continues, according to the IOM.
