Member of the Committee for Preparing Electoral Laws 6+6, Miloud Al-Aswad, has stated that the committee delivered the laws to the House of Representatives, after taking into account most of the comments received from the High National Elections Commission.
Al-Aswad explained in a statement that the technical observations discussed with the UN mission were also taken into account, as well as the observations received from the House of Representatives, the High Council of State and various political parties.
Al-Aswad added that the House of Representatives must now issue the electoral laws without amending them in order to refer them to the High National Elections Commission.
