The draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers took place in Johannesburg on Tuesday, placing the Libyan national team in a balanced group.

Libya was drawn with Tunisia , Equatorial Guinea and Botswana in Group 10.

The Libyan national team, led by the new French coach, Corentin Da Silva Martins, hopes to qualify to AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast.

Meanwhile, 24 of the 48 teams participating in the qualifiers will qualify for the finals: the first two teams from each group. Matches are expected to start next June.
