The Civil Aviation Authority said air traffic in Mitiga Airport is expected to resume within 4 days, noting that flights will continue to operate from Misurata Airport during this period.
The head of the Civil Aviation Authority Nasr Al-Din Shaib al-Ain explained in a press statement that the Ministry of Transportation is currently working on the re-organizing of the security force inside Mitiga Airport, adding that the security arrangements and the handing over process will need at least three to four days to take place.
