The Presidential Council (PC) Vice President Abdullah Al-Lafi and the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Aidar Aganin, discussed the UN envoy's initiative for national reconciliation and the preparations for the inclusive national conference in a meeting on Saturday.
Aganin reaffirmed Russia's readiness to support dialogue and find a political solution, praising the PC's role in addressing the deadlock and contributing to the progress towards elections.
During the meeting, Al-Lafi expressed appreciation for Russia's stance on the situation in the Gaza Strip, as per the Russian Embassy.
