The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Manqoush, has discussed with the new French ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, the political developments in Libya.

Both sides also reviewed the role that France can play in the stability of Libya in preparation for reaching parliamentary and presidential elections on the basis of a consensual constitutional framework.

Al-Manqoush praised France's effective role in following up on the outcomes of the Paris Conference on Libya to reach its goals, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mihraje confirmed the opening of the French embassy in Libya soon to facilitate the granting of visas to Libyan citizens, stressing his country's support for Libya to reach parliamentary and presidential elections.
