The two contenders for the presidency of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala and Khaled Al-Mishri, have participated in a celebration held by the Algerian embassy in Libya on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Glorious Liberation Revolution.
The celebration was also attended by a number of ministers of the Government of National Unity, including Deputy Prime Minister Ramadan Abu Janah, in addition to a number of local and international figures.
The HCS Media Office published on Facebook pictures showing the participation of Takala, Al-Mishri, Abu Janah, and the Acting Head of the United Nations Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury, sitting on one table.
