The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, received in his office at the headquarters of the HoR branch in Tripoli, on Monday, the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht.
HoR reported on its website that the meeting discussed the latest political developments in Libya and a number of issues related to Libyan affairs and ways to address them in a way that achieves stability.
The German ambassador's meeting with Al-Nuwairi comes within the framework of efforts to mobilize support for the political process facilitated by the United Nations, which he hopes will culminate in holding presidential and legislative elections before the end of this year.
