A member of the sub-committee of the Joint Libyan Military Committee 5+5, Mohammed Al-Turjuman, confirmed that the coastal road between Sirte and Misrata is ready for reopening.
In an interview with the Italian Nova Agency on Thursday, Al-Turjuman indicated that the security arrangements committee is working in conjunction with the main committee to study road safety, noting that this requires time and coordination as he put it.
Al-Turjuman said that the Sirte and Al-Jufrah Operations Room, demands the removal of all mercenaries before reopening, indicating that it would be implemented in official coordination between the military committee, the government and international observers, whilst calling for greater international support to achieve this goal.
