An American medical team has ended its visit to Libya after performing 35 open-heart surgeries on children, within the plan to localize treatment at home, which is supervised by the Treatment Services Support and Development Agency, according to a statement by the agency.
These operations were performed over the past 20 days, at Misrata Medical Center, by the team specialized in heart defects in children and newborns.
