The Arab foreign ministers have confirmed their commitment to the unity and sovereignty of Libya and its territorial integrity, rejecting foreign intervention of any kind in the country.

In a statement issued at the conclusion of the 149th ordinary session of the Arab League Council at the level of foreign ministers in Cairo, they also vowed support to the efforts and measures taken by the Presidential Council to preserve security and undermine the activity of terrorist groups.

The ministers also called for a comprehensive political solution to the crisis in Libya, and confirmed the Council's support for the full implementation of the Libyan political agreement signed in the city of Skhirat, Morocco.
