The Libyan Attorney General, Al-Saddiq Al-Sour has discussed with the Tunisian ambassador to Libya, Al-Assaad Al-Ajili, the conditions experienced by Tunisian prisoners in Tripoli, along with the measures taken against the detainees by the Public Prosecution in Libya.
Both sides discussed ways to enhance judicial cooperation, including enhancing efforts to combat organized crime and examining requests for extradition of criminals between both countries.
It is worth noting that the official Libyan authorities handed over a number of Tunisian men and women early last March, who had lived and fought in the ranks of ISIS in Libya, following negotiations between the two sides on methods of extradition procedures, whilst other individuals remain in Libyan prisons.
