Brega Oil Marketing Company has denied the existence of a fuel crisis in the capital, Tripoli, or a stoppage in fuel supplies to the petrol stations.
The company's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Masallati, said in press statements that supply orders from the Tripoli oil depot for the benefit of all distribution companies continues according to schedule.
Al-Masallati indicated that the interruption of supplies from the port of Tripoli to some stations in the capital, Tripoli, was due to the arrangements for celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the Libyan army, and that supply continued from the Tripoli oil depot to respond to all orders for distributing companies.
