Attiya Al-Kaseh Hospital in Kufra announced on Sunday, the death of a four-year-old child, as a result of scorpion stings.

The hospital's media spokesman said that the child condition was serious due to the delay in receiving first aid after he was transferred from his neighborhood clinic, indicating that the death was the first this year, according to the Libyan News Agency.

The Supply and Therapeutic Services Authority of the government appointed by the House of Representatives is scheduled to deliver, on Sunday, a large number of anti-scorpion venom serums  to the Al-Kaseh Hospital, according to the same source.
