The movement of "Civilians Against The Coup" has stressed that the civil state and democracy is a red line that cannot be waived or bargained away.

“The treacherous aggression on the capital Tripoli and the other western region cities is a coup against the civil authority that the Libyans have agreed upon and the governance system recognized by the international community”, the movement stated, condemning the violations committed by the militias of Haftar.

“Haftar's insistence to use military force to impose himself and his sons on the Libyan people will find nothing but rejection and resistance", the movement added.
