Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah confirmed Libya's readiness to organize any African sports event, promising necessary support to the Ministry of Sports and the Libyan Olympic Committee.
The PM made his remarks during the reception of heads of the National Olympic Committees of Africa's Zone I in Tripoli on Sunday, attended by Deputy Minister of Sports Jamal Abunuwara and President of the Libyan Olympic Committee Jamal al-Zaruq.
Dbeibah emphasized his support for cooperation among Arab Olympic Committees and the importance of regular meetings to unify efforts.
He also praised the Libyan Olympic Committee for hosting the first meeting for Zone I in Tripoli.
