The Head of the Government Emergency and Rapid Response team, Minister of Local Government, Badr Al-Din Al-Toumi, has addressed a number of public agencies and institutions to implement the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, to harness the necessary capabilities to confront fluctuations in weather conditions in the southern region.
Al-Toumi sent official letters to the General Electricity Company, the General Company for Water and Sanitation, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, and the municipal guard, environmental sanitation, ambulance, and emergency services, to work urgently, to provide all necessary assistance to the people of the south.
These instructions come after heavy rains that the city of Sabha had not witnessed in 17 years, which led to the disruption of the electrical network, in addition to damaging more than 150 homes.
