Residents of Zawiya said on Friday, that the Ministry of Defense's drones bombed a fuel smuggling site in the city.
Local Facebook pages published pictures of a column of smoke rising into the sky from the Bir Muammar area south of Zawiya, while no statement has yet been issued by the Ministry of Defense in the Government of National Unity.
During the past days, the drones launched several raids on fuel and human smugglers sites in Al-Ajailat, Sabratha and Zuwara, in continuation of the second phase of the military operation launched by the government about two weeks ago, which targets the hideouts of fuel, human and drug smugglers in the western region.
