The European Union (EU) in Libya have launched a training program for labour inspectors, organized by the Super Novae organization in cooperation with the Libyan Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation as part of the activities of the Organization and Rehabilitation Project funded by the EU.
The training program targeted 13 senior Libyan labour inspectors in the field of occupational health and safety, and workers’ rights.
EU seeks to support the Libyan authorities in their efforts to adhere to internationally recognized labour standards, according to the EU Facebook page.
