Hajj

Return flights carrying Libyan pilgrims will begin on Saturday with a schedule of three flights a day, a statement by the General Authority for Hajj and Umrah said.

Libya's pilgrims will head to Medina for a four-day visit to the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque), the second sacrosanct Mosque in Islam, after performing the Haj rituals in Mecca, Mina, and Arafat.

Nine pilgrims from Libya died during this Haj season, the authority said, including five who passed away in one day at Mina Hospital last Friday.
