After ten years of suspension, the ship “MOHAMMED S” docked on Saturday the port of Derna, which stopped work since 2014, according to the port's official Facebook page.
The port stopped work following the clashes that took place between the city's revolutionaries and the elements of the Islamic State, and the subsequent war launched by Haftar's militia against the city.
In March 2021, the Derna municipality carried out maintenance of the port facilities, expanded and cleaned the shipyard from war remnants, and prepared it to receive ships of all kinds.
