The General Electricity Company announced on Saturday the completion of the operational tests and the entry of the first turbine of the West Tripoli emergency power station with a capacity of 156 megawatts into the national grid.

GECOL stressed that the process of stabilizing the first turbine will take place after ensuring its complete readiness.

The company welcomed on Friday the lifting of force majeure on oil fields and ports, stressing that this would improve the state of public electricity network.
