Al-Manqoush

Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush said that "Libya's friends" are optimistic about the future of our country as she welcomed Thursday the return of Germany's diplomatic mission to work from the embassy's HQ in Tripoli.

"I am pleased to announce that the majority of German diplomats have moved permanently to their workplace at the German Embassy in Tripoli, after nearly nine years of working in Tunisia," the FM tweeted.

She said the step represents a new positive indication about the future of Libya and is the result of continuous efforts between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions.

The German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht, announced on Friday that the majority of the embassy's diplomats had moved to their workplace in the capital, Tripoli, describing the move as a step forward towards strengthening relations with Libya.
